On Wednesday 1 June, our Chaplaincy Team held a tree planting ceremony to support The Queen’s Green Canopy, a project that focuses on sustainability and creating a lasting legacy in honour of Her Majesty’s leadership of our nation. A paper bark maple was planted by our Chief Financial Officer, Alan Davies on the main roundabout by the bus stop at Medway Hospital.

The Medway Hospital Charity was delighted to support this project by donating the tree.

Donna Law, Charity and Fundraising Manager said: “What a lovely Platinum Jubilee project to support! Thank you to chaplain Karen for leading the service, gardener Steve for preparing the ground and Alan for planting the tree.”
