Since 1995, our Charity has been funding projects that fall outside of the NHS budget. From the small impact of buddy chairs, which allow families to stay overnight with patients, to the bigger items such as the refurbishment of our cancer unit. Thanks to your generous donations, we have purchased state-of-the-art medical equipment, new recliner chairs, supported staff training, and have paid for many little extras which make such a HUGE difference.
Our team
We are a small fundraising team based at Medway Maritime Hospital and we raise money for all the wards and departments across the hospital.

The charity received £262,000 in donations and grants and spent £521,000 on direct charitable activities, which included:
Orthopaedic Team
ENDOSCOPIC SPINAL SURGERY EQUIPMENT
This equipment allows same day surgery minimising recovery time for our patients.
Galton Day Unit
NEW SOFAS AND COFFEE TABLES FOR THE WAITING ROOM
This allows for a more comfortable experience for patients waiting for their appointments.
We also funded ambulatory ECG cardiac monitors for cardiology, play equipment for our Children's Ward, televisions for ward side rooms, plus equipment for our theatre teams.
