Making a donation

Your support, no matter how big or small, plays a vital part in supporting our hospital’s amazing work. 

By text message

Simply text MEDWAY to 70085 to donate £10.

Texts cost £10 plus one standard rate message and you must obtain permission from the bill payer. 

By cheque

Please make your cheque payable to ‘Medway Hospital Charity’ and indicate if you would like your donation to be used in a particular area or department. 

Post your cheques to us at: The Medway Hospital Charity, Medway NHS Foundation Trust, Windmill Road, Gillingham, Kent, ME7 5NY. 

In person

You can make a donation in person by visiting the General Office in the main entrance of Medway Maritime Hospital.

Opening hours are 9am to 4pm, Monday to Friday.

Choosing a project you'd like to support

Medway NHS Foundation Trust cares for more than 420,000 people across Medway and Swale. We employ 4,500 staff and our highest priority is to always provide the Best of Care for our patients.

Your contribution will help us continue our work supporting patients at Medway.

Our General Fund

Donating to our General Fund allows us to help patients by supporting any department within our hospital.

Older Persons Fund

A specialised acute wing receiving emergency admissions directly into the care of the Frailty Service.

Critical Care Team

Critical care is the treatment and monitoring of people who are in a critically ill or unstable condition.

Cancer Unit Fund

Our Cancer Unit Fund supports patients and families in our Galton Day Unit and Lawrence Ward.

Children's Ward Fund

Our 23-bedded paediatric unit provides care for children aged 0-18 with a range of complex medical and surgical conditions.

Maternity Fund

Caring for women and families in Medway and Swale during pregnancy and birth.
