Woo hoo! We’re off to a ‘wheely’ good start as the Medway Sunlight Rotary Club has got our campaign rolling by donating the first £1,000 of our £30,000 wheelchair appeal.
Donna Law, Head of The Medway Hospital Charity, was delighted to join Rotarian David Taylor for a cheque presentation.
She said: “We would like to say a massive thank you to the Medway Sunlight Rotary Club for their generous donation. We’ve had the best possible start to our campaign and we look forward to welcoming members to the hospital to meet their named wheelchair!”
“Medway Sunlight Rotary Club has been an incredible supporter for many years. During the pandemic, they delivered hundreds of ‘bags of hope’ with food supplies for staff, plus funded patio furniture for our staff courtyard. They have also donated money for two baby CPR manikins and now they’ve made the first donation to our Thirty at 30 Wheelchair Campaign and we can’t thank them enough for their continuing support.”
