On Tuesday 20 December we were delighted to welcome DJ Steve to Medway Maritime Hospital, to celebrate his fundraising success and to say thank you for raising more than £9,000!
Steve Parish, started doing DJ sets live on his phone back in November 2020, following the clap for keyworkers. The DJ nights took Facebook by storm and soon everyone was watching Steve! At this point he realised this could become something really special. This is when his friend, Neil Diamond, created a go fund me page for ‘Steve’s DJ Nights’ and the donations for the NHS started flooding in. Steve loved entertaining people and even built a new studio in his garden!
Neil said “We originally set a goal of £1,000 to reach but the amount he actually raised was phenomenal – more than £9,000 for the NHS. Steve is honestly one of the most loving and caring people you could ever meet…well done Steve.”
