A HUGE thank you to everyone who came to the Summer Fun Day on Friday 12 August. It was lovely to see so many faces come out and support the fantastic charities that were there, including Hospital Radio Medway, The Oliver Fisher Special Care Baby Trust and the Medway League of Friends.
The weather was lovely and it was great to hear that there was a wonderful community spirit at the event. As well as bringing a real sense of fun to the hospital, it also helped to raise awareness of the many charities that support the Trust.
We enjoyed performances from the All Star Performers and listened to beautiful vocals by Sona, who works in medical records here at the Trust. There was a variety of entertainment including hook a duck, badminton, therapy dogs, arts and crafts and a marvellous visit from our local superheroes!!
We had a fantastic day and raised £392!!! A huge thank you to everyone who came out and supported us and to our wonderful army of volunteers who gave their time to come along and help run our stalls.
